Next week 1,000’s of ELT professionals, from all over the world, will be making their way to Harrogate for the 48th IATEFL (International Association of Teaching English as a Foreign Language) conference. And joining them is us!
Sophie will be at IATEFL all week, kicking off by helping to organise the first Materials Writing Special Interest Group (MaWSIG) Pre-Conference Event on Monday. The theme for the day is ‘Writing for Digital’ with four great workshop hosts: Laurie Harrison, Jeremy Day, Katherine Bilsborough and Lucy Norris. There will be plenty of interesting debate and discussion, so look out for tweets on the day by following the #mawsig hashtag.
Sophie’s also going to be talking at eltjam’s secret fringe party on the future of ELT. So watch this space for a follow up and wish her luck!
If you are going to be at IATEFL and have a project you’d like to discuss, or even just want to find out more about emc design and how we work then drop Sophie a line to arrange a time to meet – firstname.lastname@example.org.
See you there!
