Whilst the weather has still been warm and sunny some of the guys at eMC have been taking full advantage of working in the countryside.

Most lunchtimes the walking group go off laden with carrier bags and forage amongst the country lanes and fields for all kinds of autumnal goodies buried in the hedgerows around Stevington.

Along with masses of blackberries, which Karen has been making into jam, there also seems to be an abundance of sloes. One sloe tree has been particularly plentiful and with there not being too many things you can do with a lot of sloes, Amy started to add them to gin! And so in true Brit fashion it has now turned into a bit of a competition!

We’re hoping to have a tasting session in the run up to Christmas!
