In the spirit of this year’s Great British Bake Off, we decided to hold our very own EMC Bake Off and after seven sugar-filled weeks it has finally come to an end. It’s been a great few weeks with each week becoming more competitive than the last.
Teams were given a weekly theme, starting with biscuit week. The weeks then got harder and harder as they went on with sponge cakes, tray bakes, bread, pies and tarts and patisseries. It was a very close competition, especially between Amy and Duncan’s teams. In the end it all came down to the last week; novelty cake week. This was all about team effort, with some amazing final creations, teams truly outdid themselves.
