As British Summer Time ends and the clocks go back this Sunday, here’s a pic of the beautiful clock tower on the Royal Liver Building in Liverpool. Built between 1908 and 1911, and part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the towers (crowned by fabled liver birds) displayed the time to sailors passing in and out of port. Don’t forget to set your clocks back and enjoy the extra hour in bed.
