Last week we received some excellent news – Oxford Skills World: Reading with Writing, a course that we designed with the Oxford University Press ELT team in New York, won a first place prize (for design) in the New York Book Show.

We are delighted to have our hard work recognised for such a widely coveted prize. We have been working with the publishing team at Oxford University Press, NYC for a number of years and have thoroughly enjoyed all of the work.

Alongside award-winning design, the series covers children’s topics using research-backed methodology to help learners grasp new language.

As well as the first place prize, two other courses we are extremely proud to have worked on were also given awards. Startup (Pearson) was awarded second place prize in the college series category and Look (National Geographic Learning) came in at third place in the elementary series category.

The New York Book Show has been running since 1985 and its aim is to showcase the best books as judged by a panel of industry professionals. The esteemed judges evaluate manufacturing, production, and design qualities of entries across a number of categories.

Thank you to the judges for choosing this series, and to the Oxford University Press, Pearson and National Geographic Learning teams for the opportunity to work with you on this. inverctimina
